CONDITION & SIZING:

 

 Here at Vivi Vintage, we bring you the best in Vintage fashion. We want you to love our website as much as we do, so we will only offer you the very best! It is important to understand that we only sell items in wearable condition. If we ourselves will not wear it, we will not sell it.

Please note:

Vintage sizing is very different than today's modern sizing. To ensure that you love your purchase, please follow the measurements that we have listed for each individual item. To ensure proper fit of each item, please do not follow a specific size number, but rather the actual measurements. We can not stress the importance of measuring your body accurately when shopping with us. All measurements are taken with the item laying flat and unstretched.

CONDITION CHART:

 

1. Brand New With Tags: This refers to our newer designer items that are Brand New with the tags attached.

2. Mint: Mint condition is very rare. The item appears to have no flaws.

3. Excellent: Excellent condition items are very common on our website. Usually there are very minor flaws and each flaw will be noted in the description.

4. Very Good: Very Good condition items will have noted flaws which are very easily repairable and listed in the description.

5. Good: Good condition items are still wearable but there are obvious flaws. These items are best suited for designers for the study of garment construction.

 

HOW WE MEASURE:

 

BUST: The Bust is measured from underarm seam to underarm seam unstretched. We then double that measurement.

SHOULDERS: The Shoulders are measured from seam to seam across the top part of the back.

WAIST: The Waist is measured from side seam to side seam and then doubled.

HIPS: The Hips are measured across the middle of the backside from side seam to side seam and then doubled.

INSEAM: The Inseam is measured from just beneath the fly the hem.

LENGTH: The Length of an item is measured from the shoulder to the bottom of the garment/accessory. Please see diagram below.

*Measurements are taken when the item is laid flat and are as accurate as possible*

*All items are measured unstretched.
