FAQ’s:

1) How do you get your merchandise?

VIVI VINTAGE gets its inventory from numerous sources. First and foremost, in our local area, we are known for buying out people’s clothing when they want to clean out their closets. It is under these circumstances that we usually get our higher-end couture pieces.  VIVI VINTAGE also scours the world to hand-select merchandise. Word of mouth, however, remains our greatest source for inventory.

2) Do you clean the items you sell?

It depends on the item. Most items we sell are in the condition we acquired them. In some circumstances, we will dry clean items which will be indicated in the item description. All footwear ALWAYS gets disinfected.

3) What happens if I order something and it doesn't fit?
We take our time to measure our items and strongly suggest that you compare our measurements to items in your own wardrobe. Vintage sizing is very different than today’s sizing. For each item on our site there is a SIZE section- In this section we list the modern size. In the description we generally list the vintage size. Please understand that the measurements we give you are NOT the size of a person wearing them, rather they are the actual size of the item. Please always measure before purchasing. 4) I work in fashion or stage design, and I would to "borrow" a certain item?
We are interested in partnering with designers, stylists, and costume designers. We will be working out a plan for such partnerships, temporarily, please feel free to email; Dara@vivivintage.com

5) If I buy a lot of items, can I get a bulk discount?
What is "bulk" to one person may not be "bulk" to another. We take customer loyalty very seriously and we will be happy to apply a 10% discount to any orders over $600.00 .

6) Do you buy, consign, or trade vintage clothing?
We do not buy or trade one-piece items unless it is high-end couture. We will buy out wardrobes, so feel free to contact us: Dara@vivivintage.com

7) How do I know if the item I am buying is authentic?
We do our best to only sell authentic vintage items. We'll be happy to provide additional photos and descriptions.

 

8) Do you ship Worldwide?

Yes we do! We love our International customers. Please refer to our Shipping Policies at the bottom of the screen.

 

9) How do you grade your clothing?

Brand New With Tags: This refers to our newer designer items that are Brand New with the tags attached (not vintage).

Mint: Mint condition is very rare. The item appears to have no visible flaws.

Excellent: Excellent condition items are very common on our website. Usually there are very minor flaws and each flaw will be noted in the description.

Very Good: Very Good condition items will have noted flaws which are very easily repairable and listed in the description.

Good: Good condition items are still wearable but have obvious flaws. These items are best suited for designers for the study of garment construction.

 

10) How do I place an order on your website?

This one’s a breeze! Simply click the Add to Cart button on the page of the item that you would like to purchase. You will then go through our secure payment system where you will be able to enter your personal data. 11) How often do you add new merchandise to your website?
