About Us:

ViViVintage.com is a high-end vintage clothing boutique where each item for sale is hand-picked by owner & founder Dara Stevens. Dara’s methodology is a unique one whereby she uses forethought into upcoming trends, and then prepares her inventory accordingly. It’s a mapping process whereby the runways trends can often be linked back to vintage predecessors.

We strive to provide high-quality vintage fashion to fashionistas who embrace yesteryear’s fashion as today’s passion.

About The Owner:

Now a purveyor of fine vintage fashion, Dara started her career in the fashion industry holding two positions at Christian Dior and Rebecca Taylor. In addition, she has also provided stylist consulting to a number of clients. Shortly after her experience working with the fashion industry, she decided to start her own business where she could connect lovers of vintage fashion with high-quality vintage goodies.

She graduated Rutgers University with a BA in Women Studies. Dara feels her major in Women Studies helps her understand the universal concepts of women around the world and she relies on what she’s learned when connecting with her female clients.

Why Vivi?

These letters represent the word “life” in different languages. The concept of branding ourselves ViViVintage seeks to connect the cycle of life whereby what was once old becomes new again; it is the concept that vintage fashion takes on so many different meanings for different people. Sure, some classics stay classics, and hence live forever. Other times, some fads fade, but some people still hold on, hence still giving the fad, life. Vivi’s concept is to leverage on-line commerce to show the world that fashion is life; it is that simple and that complex.
